Gaia Grossi is an Italian born - naturalized American visual artist, currently based in the Roman countryside.

She lived in NYC for over 15 years where she studied at the Art Students League of NY and the NY Studio school of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture.

For the past 10 years, after a career in journalism, she has been exhibiting her sculptures and paintings both in the US and in Europe.

In 2019 she was granted the opportunity to build a 12 foot tall public monument for the Riverside Park of Manhattan, NYC. Since 2021 the monument has its permeant home in the Florida Keys.

Her work aims to open a dialogue between the fragmentation of time and the discoveries/discomfort that come with change.

She lives with her husband, a martial artist, and their 3 y/o son in an olive groove where they are in the process of building an Art Center with a Japanese Tea House and a Dojo. An inclusive place for everyone interested in learning and sharing with empathy and care for the other.
